1/3 of companies think the Tokyo Olympics will have a positive effect on their business
“Dealing with nuclear accidents” stood out as an issue that required resolution by the commencement of the Tokyo Olympics
It was decreed on September 8, 2013 (Japan time), that the 2020 Summer Olympics and Paralympics will be held in Tokyo. Dubbed as the fourth “arrow” – or policy – of Abenomics, the special economic demands from the Tokyo Olympics are anticipated as a catalyst that will invigorate the Japanese economy in the future. At the same time, however, there are those who are concerned about further propagation of the excess concentration of population and industry in the Tokyo Metropolitan area, as well as the economic influence of the Olympics on other regions.
