—The Bite of Big Apple #20 — The Inside of the Chrysler Building

The Chrysler Building was built between 1928 and 1930, and is an iconic New York image since then.

Have you visited the Chrysler Building Lobby? When walking in, you will be amazed by the gorgeous mural that covers the entire ceiling, which is painted by Edward Trumbull. And the fabulous walls of the lobby are made with a massive African marble.

The Chrysler Building lobby is open to the public from 8am to 6pm Monday through Friday (excluding National Holidays). When you visit there, keep in mind that you are visiting the lobby of a building that is used for business!
