Turnover rate of corporate presidents was 3.61% in 2012, setting the lowest record since 1990

Teikoku Databank conducted a nationwide survey of the turnover rate of corporate presidents for the year of 2012 (Heisei 24).  Data was extracted and analysed by age group, average age, universities attended, and hometown.

1. Turnover rate of corporate presidents

The turnover amount of corporate presidents in 2012 (Jan-Dec) was 38,900. The turnover rate of corporate presidents was 3.61%, setting the lowest record since 1990. The turnover rate has declined in three consecutive years since it dipped below 4% in 2010.
